There's a place for you at our table.
We're hiring people who are ready to show up with intention — for the kids, and for each other.
Windsor Street Montessori isn't like other schools. And working here isn't like other jobs.
We are a food-forward Montessori community in the heart of Columbia — a place where everything is intentional, every child is known, and every person on our team is genuinely seen and valued. If that's the kind of place you've been looking for, we'd love to meet you.
WHY WINDSOR
The difference you can feel when you walk through our doors.
Windsor is different — and people who've worked here will tell you they knew it immediately.
Here, the work is intentional. The environment is structured and calm because everything in it has purpose. The children are engaged because they're trusted. And the team shows up for each other the same way they show up for the kids — with consistency, warmth, and real care.
We know this work is hard. Caring for children takes everything you have some days. That's exactly why we've built a community that gives something back — one where you are supported, heard, and valued, not just as an employee, but as a person.
You are seen here.
We've built a team culture where people are genuinely known and cared for.
Everything is intentional.
The Montessori environment runs the way it does for a reason — and you'll feel the difference on day one.
Food is part of the education.
We cook from scratch, eat together, and teach kids that nourishing themselves is an act of care. There's nowhere quite like this.
The work is purposeful.
This is doing something that matters — every single day.

EMPLOYEE TESTIMONIALS
“I’ve been at Windsor Street Montessori since 2020, and it’s honestly such a special place to work. As the Lead Primary Guide, I get to spend my days in a classroom where kids are free to explore, make choices, and grow into their own unique selves, it’s amazing to watch their confidence and independence build over time. The environment is calm, thoughtful, and full of opportunities for hands-on learning, both inside and outside. But what really makes it stand out is the team. We truly support each other, share ideas, step in when someone needs help, and care about one another in a real way. There’s a strong sense of balance here too, with time and breaks throughout the day and the year built in for us to rest and recharge, which makes a big difference. It’s just a really warm, collaborative community where both the kids and the teachers get to thrive.”
Ms. Annie, Lead Primary Guide
Working at Windsor is truly special because it’s an intentional, connected community where both children and adults are valued and supported. There’s a genuine sense of care here, among staff, families, and the children that makes it feel more like a community than just a workplace.
I feel supported through the collaboration and trust within our team. We’re encouraged to grow, share ideas, and be present with the children in meaningful ways, which makes a big difference in how we show up each day.
My favorite part of being on this team is watching the children, especially toddlers, as they develop new motor skills and gain independence. I also love being part of a food-forward environment where children explore new foods, their palates evolve, and they begin to understand where their food comes from. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their growth and curiosity in such a thoughtful setting.
Ms. Erika, After Care Guide
