Next week, in the welcome materials you and your child(ren) will receive, you will find some information about the Parent Organization (PO) and a request for a $15 dues donation. As a parent, grandparent, or guardian of a Windsor Street Montessori School student, you are a member of WSMS’s PO. Founded in 2010, the PO is a community of parents and other family members working to support WSMS’s Primary and Elementary classes by partnering with teaching staff and administration to organize special events and fundraise.

Our budget is comprised of donations and membership dues from WSMS families and 10% of the proceeds of PO-sponsored fundraising events. A full 90% of the funds raised from these events goes directly to WSMS!

In recent years the PO has raised money to purchase playground equipment, provide cash gifts to each classroom, and to fund arts instruction and a teacher training endowment. Please see the WSMS calendar for dates and a complete list of PO-sponsored events for this academic year.

The Parent Organization works to support WSMS’s mission. We hope that you’ll consider attending a meeting, volunteering your time for one of the PO events, and/or donating annual dues. We look forward to seeing you and your child(ren) at WSMS events and welcome your input and involvement in the PO!
