All three WSMS classes gathered to complete their first laps of the year for Go! Windsor on Friday, our regular running day (check out an album of photos at the link!).

Go! Windsor challenges students from every Windsor Street Montessori classroom to run 26 miles, read 26 books, and complete 26 good deeds over the course of the school year. Students will be completing their weekly runs at school: the youngest students run or walk one lap of the Lions-Stephens Park loop and others complete two or three! And in May we’ll run the final mile of the marathon together at WSMS’s Spirit Day.

Students will receive a Go! Windsor log at school this week to record the books, good deeds, and miles we run. The log also prompts students to ask a family member or teacher initial each mile, book, and good deed. (And extra copies will be available in the office.)
